What is a service like?

St. James’ is a welcoming and friendly parish.  Upon arrival at the church, you will be greeted by an usher who will happily answer any questions you have.

Our services follow the liturgy laid out in the bulletin and are based on the Book of Common prayer.

Restrooms and the parish office are located to the right of the sanctuary.

Coffee hour is held in the gallery after the service.  We would love to have you stop by and say hello.

Can I Bring My Children?

Children of any age are welcome at St. James! 

Your little ones are welcome to sit with you in the pew, in our comfortable soft space at the front of the church, or in the library in the back of the church.

We provide children’s bulletins each week for older children to be able to follow along in an age-appropriate way though reading, puzzles and games.

What Do I Wear?

St. James’ does not have a dress code.  Whether Sunday best or jeans and T-shirts, you are welcome to come as you are.

Can I Receive Communion?

All baptized are welcomed at the table of the Lord.

What if I Have a Gluten Allergy?

We have gluten free communion wafers available upon request.  Please let one of the ushers know so that one may be ready for you at communion.
